Check out some of the Cervélo models to start off the 2023 season!

Winning the 2022 Tour de France to crushing cyclocross world cups all season Cervélo has a history of making head turning bikes. We’re happy to announce that we will be carrying Cervélo for the 2023 cycling season and beyond. Here at the shop we can’t wait to see the iconic brand come into the show room.

Founded by Phil White and Gérard Vroomen, Cérvelo started as a graduation project for Vroomen making frames as a student at McGill University. Vroomen and White met as engineering students that shared a love of cycling and wanted to push the boundaries of what a bicycle was. Eventually setting up shop in Toronto, Vroomen and White designed some of the most influential bikes in the industry since their inception.

Designing bikes through an aerodynamic approach instead of what constituted a bike traditionally looked like at the time. Cervélo went on to create some of the most industry advancing bikes with the P series time trial bikes setting the aerodynamic standard as well as the lightest production frame to win at Paris-Roubaix with the R3.

Cervélo has a full range of models with the R series, S series, Caledonia, Soloist, Aspero, and the ZHT-5. These cover all the bases, anything from mountain top finishes at the Tour de France to the Leadvillle Trail 100, Cervélo has you covered.

The R-series, known for their lightweight design winning everything from Paris-Roubaix to the stage wins of Jonas Vingegaard at this years Tour. With the current model being the R5, Cervélo have put their R&D department to work making a bike that can climb with ease as well as descending with unmatched handling. With their size 56 frame coming in at 703 grams shedding 130 grams from the previous model the R5 is truly a cut above.

The S-series is Cervélo’s aero model, identified by their triangular stem design, the S5 is cuts through the wind like a knife. This bike was used by Wout van Aert to win the highest number of points in the modern era at the 2022 Tour de France. Maximizing aero gains the S5 increased their tube shapes as well as reducing the overall weight from previous models in the S-series.

The Soloist is the the latest road model from Cervélo is the perfect balance between the R5 and the S5. Aero and light, the Soloist brings back one of the models that launched Cervélo into the spotlight with the CSC pro team back in the early 2000s. Perfect for someone looking to complete their quiver with just one bike.

The Caledonia model released in 2020 is Cervélo’s endurance bike offering. Unlike most endurance bikes the Caledonia excels at going fast even when the odometer goes well past the triple digits. Made to be versatile and be able to handle any terrain or weather thrown at it the Caledonia is made to fit large tires and even removable mud guard mounts to handle the toughest conditions. Made to be aero and stiff where you need it the Caledonia can hold its own in a town sign sprint too. With two frame designs in the series the Caledonia 5 and the Caledonia cater to everybody in the market for a bike to go the distance.

The Aspero, flat out speed. Made to go fast and be fun to ride. The engineers at Cervélo wanted to make a gravel bike that felt fast but could perform on the long distance at races like Unbound or the Big Red. Lightweight speed, the Aspero’s designers thought of the headwinds in the Prairies as well as the steep climbs in the mountains.

Come check out the models in store, we’d love to get you on a Cervélo for this years cycling season!
